POCIS is excited to sponsor schools, individuals, and organizations on events and programming that serve its mission of supporting people of color in independent schools. Please provide us with some information about your event and the amount of financial support you would like to request by filling out this form. To receive POCIS sponsorship, events must be open to people at POCIS member schools.
POCIS’s Programming Committee will review the requests and may reach out for further information before bringing them to the monthly Board meeting for a vote. To be considered at a Board meeting, requests must be submitted at least seven days beforehand. Here is the schedule of Board meetings for the 2018-2019 school year:
February 28 (Thursday)
March 29 (Friday)
May 9 (Thursday)
We will consider requests up to $5000, but our typical sponsorship is between $500 and $1000.
