PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Athenian School invites applications, nominations, and inquiries as we search for a Director of Enrollment Management. The Director will be responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of enrollment for the middle and upper school. This role serves on the school leadership team and collaborates with the leadership team to steward the overall strategic direction of the school.
The Director will lead a team of three and is the senior strategist for enrollment management and financial aid. Together with their team, the Director will work in close partnership with division heads, key academic leaders, and finance colleagues. The Director, along with their team, will lead a variety of admissions activities to attract and enroll mission-aligned, bright, motivated students who reflect a broad range of identities and experiences and have the potential to thrive and contribute in our classrooms and in our community. The Director, together with their team, will cultivate important relationships with school placement directors and community based organizations. The Director will manage parent/guardian volunteers and will be responsible for timely communication and marketing to families and key stakeholders. The Director reports regularly to the school leadership team, the head of school, and the Board of Trustees with key enrollment data.

We seek candidates with leadership experience in admissions and enrollment management and demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking and planning. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with flexibility, creativity, and curiosity.
BENEFITS, COMPENSATION, PROFESSIONAL GROWTH & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Athenian provides excellent benefits and salaries are competitive and commensurate with work experience and education. The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $165,000. Community members enjoy meals on campus and use of athletics facilities, including a pool, gym and fitness center.
All employees participate in school wide professional development, and have the opportunity to pursue a range of additional professional growth opportunities. These include, but are not limited to, funded participation in professional conferences and continuing education opportunities. Athenian provides needed training for CPR/AED certification.
All employees are expected to attend all-school functions relevant to their role and to participate in supporting the student experience with other school duties as requested by their direct supervisor.
Employees have the chance to apply for and serve as part of our residential life team which would include campus housing. We also offer the opportunity to coach a sport for a supplemental stipend.
