2nd Grade Head Teacher

Starts August 7, 2023, M-F 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (100% FTE position)

Salary Range $60,500 – $136,900 depending upon experience + education

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Education w/ 3-5 years classroom experience

The Core of the Work

  • Plan + manage a dynamic classroom environment where all students feel seen + valued
  • Collaborate with Lower School colleagues to assure coherence, relevance + vibrancy of program
  • Work with Learning Specialist for appropriate accommodations + differentiation for all learners
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians via emails, calls + ParentSquare posts, including a minimum of two conferences per year
  • Supervise + support inclusive + fair play
  • Maintain fluency with technology + digital citizenship
  • Continue to develop relevant professional knowledge + skills, particularly as related to academic + cultural competencies
