The Carey School is a Preschool to Grade 5 independent school in San Mateo, California, operating on two campuses. The Carey School seeks a creative, energetic and responsible Associate Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The Associate Teacher is a collaborative teacher who works with the Lead Teacher on all levels of classroom planning, teaching and communicating with parents, faculty and staff and is adept at classroom management and executing lessons. The ideal candidate will be credentialed or in the process of getting a credential and have experience with elementary aged children. Qualified candidates will have a love of children and knowledge of the developmental levels that span Kindergarten to fifth grade. This is a full time position with generous benefits. The anticipated salary range the school reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $55 – $70K, depending on factors such as experience and/or education.
