Seeking High School Assistant Baseball Coach
The San Francisco Waldorf High School is seeking an assistant baseball coach for the upcoming Spring season. Our high school competes in the Bay Area Conference and is a member of the CIF and NCS.
Spring Season: February – Late May
Qualified candidates will be those with a strong background in coaching baseball (prefer College/High School coaching and/or playing experience) who seek a team-oriented athletic environment, with the ability to apply leadership, organization, and teaching skills to adolescent student-athletes in a strong and competitive athletic program. Experience is a plus, but is secondary to dedication and commitment.
High School RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Valid California driver’s license, TB test and fingerprinting.
-NFHS California Coaching Certification & other required courses mandated by the state for HS coaches.
-CPR and First Aid certification (or the willingness to become certified) is also necessary.
-Provide consistent communication with student-athletes, parents, fellow coaches, and supervisors.
-Attend coaching clinics and meetings as required.
-Mandated Reporter Training required.
-An interest in Waldorf education.
Must be available during after-school hours weekdays, between 3:30 – 6:00pm and weekends.
