Chief Experience Officer and Business Development – SpeechX

January 2022 to April 2022

Worked with a Speech start-up to develop education technology materials including the mobile application LingoTask. With the use of their core technologies, I worked with teachers, principals and speech specialists directly to develop an English learning platform for English as Second Language (ESL) students. Further drove market adoption through running focus groups, education tech conferences and collected feedback to onboard improvements.

• Reason for leaving: Covid-19 lockdowns in Hong Kong escalated, schools closed and remote work for this role was not possible.

September 2021 to November 2021

Teaching internship # 2 as part of training and completing PGCE degree from the University of Sunderland. Responsibilities included planning, reviewing and delivering lessons for a range of middle and high school subjects. Furthermore, daily meetings and reflections were conducted to review the quality of lesson plans and their effectiveness on learning outcomes.
