Sacramento Country Day School, the regional leader in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade independent school education since 1964, seeks a full-time Spanish teacher in our Lower School (K-5th grade) for the 2024-25 school year. This position includes 100% employer paid medical, dental and vision benefits. The salary range for this position is between $52,000 – $92,000 depending upon education and experience.
This full-time position will include teaching students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Candidates will also be prepared to integrate themselves in the life of the school, including, but not limited to organizing field trips, participating in Pacha Mundi (International Day), among other school-wide activities.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; graduate degrees preferred.
· Experience and expertise that align with our World Languages program.
· Demonstrated successful teaching experience and someone who enjoys working with Lower School age children.
· Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work well with students and colleagues; willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Country Day community.
· Strong commitment to equity and inclusion.
School requirements include: Background check, First Aid/CPR training (school sponsored), negative TB result.
