Please join POCIS Northern California for a conversation about Creating an Equitable Approach to school wide multicultural celebrations.

We will be learning from the experiences of:

Britt Anderson, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Prospect Sierra School

Priti Hulse , 3rd Grade Lead Teacher at Prospect Sierra School

Melissa Skiles, Director of Wellbeing, The Hamlin School

Patrice Wakely, Director of Institutional Equity & Belonging at  San Francisco Friends School at  San Francisco Friends School

  • Authentically represent cultures
  • De-emphasize dominant holidays
