The Path to Financial Freedom for Educators with Brian Li, Financial Literacy and Math Teacher with Providence Day School

November 21 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm EST

Free

The state of education in America is in dire shape. Teachers of color are overworked and underpaid. Across the nation, they are leaving the profession in droves. The racial wealth gap continues to expand as too many of us struggle to save for retirement. Yet, our value in the classroom has never been more important. Financial freedom is not a dream; the time to invest and take care of your financial wellness is now. In this accessible, interactive, and informative session, we will demystify investing, saving for retirement, and generational wealth building.   This event is free to POCIS members, $25 per person for non-POCIS member schools.

Learn from Brian’s personal journey and discover simple yet effective money management techniques tailored for educators. Whether you’re just starting to think about your finances or looking to optimize your wealth-building strategies, this event is for you!   Brian will share a wealth of resources with you so that you can continue your journey towards financial freedom well beyond this presentation. Together, we can break down the barriers to financial literacy and pave the way for a brighter, more secure future
