Associate Admissions Director

Presentation High School, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, is currently seeking an experienced Associate Director of Admissions.

Full-time/Part-time:  Full-time

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Director of Admissions

Supervises:  N/A

Salary Range: $80K – $95K annually; commensurate with experience

Position Summary

The Associate Director is a member of the admissions team who collaborates across all aspects of the enrollment management process providing support in the recruiting and enrollment of mission-aligned students. As a member of the Admissions team, this person will help recruit families through personalized and targeted outreach and Admissions events at Presentation. They will  work closely with current students and parents to develop strategic and creative outreach and events to highlight the unique aspects of our school.

Duties and Specific Responsibilities

Responsible for executing the following responsibilities in collaboration with the Director of Admissions:

Represent the school to prospective students and parents, educational consultants, and other constituencies who may directly or indirectly play a role in recruitment/admissions activities.
Assist in developing and executing a strategic vision for recruitment and enrollment of qualified students
Contribute to the mission and standards of the school by recruiting and retaining students who will benefit from the school’s unique culture and program and contribute to the school community.
Guide prospective families through the admissions process from the time of inquiry to matriculation
Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to manage the Admissions Database, Ravenna
Assist in cultivating and maintaining relationships with feeder schools
Oversee the planning and execution of key recruitment events for prospective and new students and parents
Manage the prospective student shadow program
Manage recruitment and training of Presentation student and parent Ambassadors who act as extensions of the Admissions office
Facilitate the strategic use of personalized mailings and phone calls from Presentation Ambassadors
Support the Director of Admissions in developing and maintaining effective communications through hard-copy collateral, the website, newsletters, emails and social media
Lead and manage tours for prospective families
Education & Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The items below represent the knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience required or preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or sales, or commensurate experience
At least 3-5 years of relevant  professional experience in an external facing, people oriented role, in a school setting preferred
Experience working with high school students
Spanish proficiency is a plus

Confident public speaker in a variety of settings
Aptitude for technology and data management systems (e.g. Ravenna) including Google suites and Excel
Impeccable writing and editing skills
A high level of initiative, attention to detail, and strong organizational and project management skills, flexible and adaptable
A positive outlook and genuine desire to partner with families through the Admissions process
High regard for confidentiality
