Sacramento Country Day School, the regional leader in Pre-K-12th grade independent school education since 1964, seeks a Middle School Math Teacher. This is a full-time position with benefits (100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums for employee only), beginning August 16, 2025. The salary range is $52,000 – $95,000 depending on education and years of experience.
This position will include teaching three sections of 7th Pre-Algebra and one section of 8th grade Geometry, teaching one elective class per term, and serving as an advisor. Candidates will also be prepared to integrate themselves into the life of the school, including, but not limited to, attending regular faculty meetings and chaperoning field trips and events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; graduate degrees preferred.
- Experience and expertise that align with our math program.
- Demonstrated successful teaching experience and someone who enjoys working with children.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students and colleagues; willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Country Day community.

Country Day enrolls over 580 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The Middle School serves roughly 150 students in Grade 6 through Grade 8. Middle School students are inspired and supported by twenty faculty and staff members, who focus on the academic, emotional, and social growth of their students.
