REPORTS TO: Father Sauer Academy Principal – Ms. Theresa Bayze

DURATION: January 2023 through June 2023

HOURS: 7:45am- 4:00pm

PRIMARY ROLE:

We are seeking to hire an educator with an unwavering commitment to raising student achievement, with the ability to work comfortably under pressure with diverse groups of learners while implementing culturally proficient teaching practices. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to teach other subject areas as needed in this growing middle school program.

 

●      Have strong instructional organization, proven classroom management skills, and willingness to engage with students who are new to a rigorous schedule

●      Have experience with effective use of educational technology

●      Demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic professional learning community

 

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

 

●               Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree;

●               California Teaching Credential or Master’s Degree in English Language Arts, Education, History or Science;

●               Minimum two years of middle school teaching experience in underserved communities in your area of expertise;

●               Appreciates and respects Catholic, Jesuit culture, identity and values;

●               Understand and support the Mission, Vision and Culture of the school
