Substitute Teachers in Science (Chemistry Preferred)

SUBSTITUTE IN SCIENCE

We are seeking substitute teachers in SCIENCE (with a preference for a background Chemistry) for the 2018-19 school year. The substitute would be responsible for covering Bay science courses as needed.

The ideal candidate

• possesses a Master’s degree or Teaching Credential in Chemistry or related field
• has experience with the following working effectively with a range of students;
• values individual learning styles;
• brings a diversity of teaching and life experience to her/his/their work;
• dedicates her/himself/themselves to anti-bias and equity work
• demonstrates a passion for teaching and learning as well as for the subject matter;
• enjoys working with and inspiring high school learners in all areas of school life.

The school offers $50 per class coverage.
