Sacramento Country Day School, the regional leader in PK-12th grade independent school education since 1964, seeks a Third Grade Teacher to add to our excellent faculty. We are seeking an overtly warm and supportive teacher who is an expert at building a classroom community, who is skilled in teaching reading and math (Everyday Math experience is a plus), who enjoys integrating subjects, who engages with parents as partners in their children’s growth and development, who has a sense of humor, who enjoys working with colleagues and is a team player, who loves to develop curriculum, and who can meet the needs of a wide range of learners. Responsive Classroom training is a plus. This is a full time position beginning in late August. Country Day School embraces the ideals of a liberal arts education.
