Bachelor of Arts in Water Resources, Policy and Communications at University of Redlands, Johnston College for Integrative Studies

I’ve graduated from the University of Redlands, Johnston Program for Integrative Studies with my major, Water Resources, Policy and Communications. My education experience has led me to not only learn but master how to communicate and connect with the public upon the topics of interconnectedness, water resources and environmental justice. Outside my studies, I dedicated my involvement to the Students for Environmental Action organization, working within the University’s Sustainable Farm, and volunteering within The Sierra Club Regenerate California Campaign. Overtime, I became president of the student organization, a director at SURF gardens, one of the university’s sustainability council members, and an environmental justice intern. Within these leadership positions, I mobilized hundreds of students and community members to participate in a climate strike, outreached campus and city wide compost education efforts, devised a divestment campaign for the University of Redlands, and organized residents of Redlands to take action against air pollution.
