Sophian Alexis Ben Djebbour

My name is Sophian, and I hail from France. Throughout my life, I have always been driven by a strong desire for international exposure, aiming to challenge and overcome any stereotypes associated with my home country.

At the age of 21, I made a bold choice to relocate to China after completing my Chinese studies in France. This move allowed me to further enhance my command of the Chinese language and transition into the field of business studies.

Following the completion of my degree, I gained valuable experience in sales and marketing while working for a Sino-Western design company. During my time there, I held responsibility for overseeing sales and marketing activities in Mainland China. Subsequently, I returned to France, where I spent a year working as a fashion stylist at a prestigious fashion label, while contemplating my academic pursuits.

To supplement my business studies, I embarked on a dual program degree at Givenchy Paris, where I had the privilege of gaining exposure to both the Retail and Wholesale business units.

Equipped with a BBA in business and marketing, I seized the opportunity to further expand my professional expertise and global exposure by enrolling in a Master’s program in Sales and Management at ESCP Europe in Berlin. Concurrently, I worked as an account executive at Zalando Marketing Services, overseeing the communication and marketing efforts of VF portfolio through social media and the Zalando marketplace.

Drawing upon my previous experiences of living in China, Germany, and exploring diverse countries, I decided to concentrate my efforts on sales and marketing roles. This led me to venture into the recruitment sector in Hong Kong, where I dedicated nine months to refining my skills and contributing to the industry.

Afterward, I joined CASETiFY a Fashion Tech Hong Kong listed company  to spearhead in-house marketing initiatives specifically targeting the European and more specifically the German market.

Otherwise, on the side of my work experience, I hva e taught in French, English and Mandarin to a few families online and offline and I am currently seeking an e mploytment within the education space.
